Love Sushi – Join our sushi master class and learn to make sushi and sashimi
For Japanese cuisine we have designed a sushi master class to teach the subtle art of making fine sushi and sashimi. We start by learning the fundamentals about Japanese cuisine and cookery terms so that you can identify products when you shop for them.
As part of the class you will learn how to cook rice for Sushi; preparation of the ingredients; learn a variety of recipes, and know where to source ingredients. All our classes are hands-on and delegates will actually make their own sushi and sashimi. There are a maximum of 6 delegates per group and lots of one to one attention. The class lasts approximately 2½ hours.
Cost of class: £120
Timings: 10am – 12.30 pm
No previous experience in cookery necessary

Customer reviews
"Thank you for the wonderful sushi master class on Thursday, it was terrific for a beginner like me. I found the information relating to the preparation of sushi, what type of fish to use, and why particularly interesting as well the origins of sushi and Japanese food. The fact that the class is all hands was excellent, I hadn't really expected that… practise does make perfect. Ps the surroundings and location was great, very personable and really helps to gets you into a relaxed frame of mind. All round I had a lovely time and I'll be back for more classes. Thank you!"

"Thank you Sonia for a really good Sushi class last week. The chef gave a great introduction and put sushi into perspective. I enjoyed the friendly, knowledgeable and informal structure of the day. I'll certainly recommend this class and cookery school to others, Hadn't expected to get so much out of it! Good luck"
"Being Japanese myself I've always eaten sushi but don't know how to roll it… this class was very informative and gave lots of information about sushi and sashimi that I hadn't even know, so it was very educational for me and my mum, much better than I expected. The small group meant it was almost one to one which was great to get practical help to learn to roll correctly; I really enjoyed the environment and kitchen, not what I had imagined at all. I work for BUY a GIFT so I will be in a really good position to recommend this cookery school to my clients."
