As we look out to 2018 and all the exciting things we have planned for the year ahead, we thought we’d reflect and share with you some of the highlights of last year.
2017 was the year we:
Increased our corporate events by 100%
We enabled organisations to work more effectively with fun and inspiring team building events, bring people together to create shared memories and experiences in the workplace.
Charitable Causes
In Spring 2017, we set up the ‘Payback’ Foundation – a charitable program designed to give organisations the chance to ‘give back’ to their local communities. Our popular cookery team building events such as ‘Bake Off’ and ‘Ready Steady Cook’ not only enabled them to create dishes in a fun and competitive event, but donate their final offerings to local charities, food banks and homeless shelters.
Clients who took part in our program, included Waters Corporation who cooked for a homeless refuge, computer software company Qlik who donated meals from their Vive Espana – Spanish Tapas menu to a women’s homeless shelter and GB Training who hosted a Soup Kitchen for the local community in Hackney.
Our Winter Wonderland workshop was a hit with Ondra Partners, who not only mastered the art of confectionery making by creating chocolate truffles and gingerbread houses, but donated the proceeds to children at a homeless refuge shelter. “It was truly a pleasure to be involved in such a benevolent activity at Christmas, the level of interest was much more engaging than we had imagined possible” Carole Evans – Ondra Partners
Curry for Change
In October 2017 we join the Curry for Change organisation to change the lives of families in Asia & Africa by raising funds through our Indian cookery classes – the funds from each class was matched by Natco Foods.
New Classes
Our talented chefs have tapped into their creativity to bring you 3 new cookery classes
