Our Covid-19 Strategy

As we are trying to get back to some degree of normality following the Covid-19 Pandemic I want to

re-assure you that we will be complying with all the government legislation and guidelines during your visit to us. We will do this in the most practicable and sympathetic way possible to both mitigate /minimise the risk, to make the day as comfortable and enjoyable as possible for you.

In the run up to and on the day of your visit we will be implementing the following control measures which support our reopening ‘Risk Assessment’:

  • Ask all attendees to complete a ‘Health Declaration’ document about their health and contact with others 5 days prior to attending, to be updated on arrival before entering the Academy.
  • To monitor everyone’s temperature before entering the Academy.
  • Once in the premise you will be asked to wash your hands for the prescribed 20 seconds and continue doing so throughout the day at appropriate times.
  • Provide suitable social distancing measures where possible with an optional face protection mask for the entire duration of your time at The Academy.
  • All equipment, workstations and general premises will be sanitised prior to your arrival.
  • Each delegate will have their own separate cooking stations as was previously the case.
  • There will be no shared ingredients or passing of equipment between attendees.

We are very keen to welcome you back to learn more skills and techniques and we think that it is important to keep you informed of our strategy prior to your arrival on how we will comply with the latest government guidelines to make your day with us enjoyable, whilst meeting your expectations and manage your concerns

We hope you will be joining us for a cookery class very soon.

With my best wishes,

Kumud Gandhi
