This country has enjoyed a long standing love affair with all things curried and with chicken tikka masala firmly embedded in our consciousness as Britain’s favourite national dish it is a passion that seems likely to continue unabated. Seasoned students who have attended some or all of our extensive range of Indian classes will have already acquired a great grounding in the use of spices and the techniques required in Indian cookery alongside an impressive portfolio of delicious recipes from the classes- however we know from the feedback we regularly receive that our customers want to learn more.
So it is by popular demand that we are introducing our new “Curries, Curries, Curries!” class where we concentrate on main course curry dishes aimed at the more experienced cook. The holy grail for most fans of Indian cookery is to have a repertoire of go to trusted recipes at their fingertips, either for a midweek meal or for entertaining and this is the focus of our new class. You will already have a familiarity with Indian cookery so there’ll be no hanging about as we dive straight into creating the first dish, making everything from scratch with our usual emphasis on fabulous flavours. As you would expect there are hints, tips and hacks galore accompanied by a whole host of new techniques. We leave no stone unturned as the class encompasses dishes that incorporate a variety of proteins and flavour profiles.
We guarantee that by the end of the session you will be in a position to create an Indian banquet for your friends and family from the array of stunning dishes at your disposal.
Learn dishes including:
Butter chicken, chicken pathia, aloo keema, egg and potato curry and gobi curry. Alternative recipes will be included for any dietary needs.
