Our Cooking Lessons

This class is perfect for anyone looking to expand their South Indian cookery skills. Dosa are the signature dish of south Indian cuisine, a light and delicate crepe made with fermented rice flour and lentils ground into a batter.   Although the dish originates from South India it has become a favourite all over India and is usually eaten for breakfast.

Dosas make a veritable feast comprising of a crispy fermented over-sized crepe filled with a delicious spicy potato dish tempered in mustard seeds and onions served with a flavourful lentil sambar (soup). They are entirely vegan and gluten free so great for healthy eating and digestion.  With the explosion of street food, dosas are now widely available worldwide and eaten at any time of the day.

If you have enjoyed the flavours and would like to recreate them yourself, then join us on our Half Day Dosas Dosas Dosas Masterclass, where you too will make your own dosas, the filling and Sambar.

This class is suitable for vegetarians and vegans
