Asian Street Food

Indian street food has become so popular that it’s now cooked and eaten as household snacks. Breakfast, lunch, high tea or dinner, there’s no set time for enjoying street food sold by the peddlers and street hawkers amongst the road-side cafés – it’s a way of life for the people of Asia. And there’s much more to it than onion bhajias and samosas!

In this class we will provide recipes to enable you to recreate the ‘chowpatti’ experience of Mumbai, including hakka-style chilli paneer, Parsi-style chicken farcha (the Indian equivalent of Southern Fried Chicken), Papri Chat, Agni wings and the infamous pau bhaji.
