Fenugreek, also known as methi, is used as a herb either fresh or dried. It is used largely in Indian and Pakistani recipes.
It has a strong aroma and a bitter taste. But when used in small quantities, these leaves impart a very distinct flavour to the dish. It is commonly used in curries, vegetable dishes, daal and not to forget the mouth-watering methi parathas.
