This action-packed Full Day Thai Class will teach you about the flavours and ingredients that make Thai cuisine so unique.
You’ll learn about the herbs and spices that are fundamental to Thai cooking, and you’ll get to create your own dishes using these ingredients.
Thai cuisine is famous for its complex flavours, blending sour, sweet, salty, bitter, and spicy tastes. It uses both fresh and dry spices, and seasoning and preparation are just as important as cooking. Our Thai cooking class gives you the chance to explore the textures, colours, and flavours of this unique cuisine.

“I gave the half day Thai cookery class to my husband with trepidation, but I was over the moon to see how much he enjoyed it and how he was motivated to come home and cook – he wants to come back for the advanced class.”
“Having already done the One Day Thai class, I can’t believe the dishes we created. First of all, we actually did all the cooking – just like last time, which is a departure from a lot of the cookery classes I’ve been on. The recipes are all original and authentic – hard to imagine you’d find such authentic cookery outside of Thailand, and even many Thai restaurants aren’t this real. I just feel I’ve learned a lot and built up my knowledge of Thai food.”
“I really loved the first One Day Thai class and I didn’t think this class could beat it, but I’ve enjoyed this one even more on account of the fact that we made two dishes that are really much better than I remember them in Thailand. The techniques and tips in the class are just amazing. Thank you for yet again another day of pleasurable cooking, and what great views to look out to all day – there was even a peacock in the garden.”
“I attended the Thai cookery class and I thought the information on all the fresh ingredients was great. The delivery of the class was superb – 10 out of 10! I also loved the intimate ‘home’ style of teaching.”
“I thought the Thai class today was at exactly the right level and pace. The delivery of the class was excellent – there was a good balance of background knowledge of spices, teaching and hands on cooking. It was a really relaxed atmosphere and I will recommend it to friends!”
“This is my second course (first a Christmas present, second a birthday present), taken at the Cooking Academy – the Full Day Thai Cookery Course.
Sarah is a brilliant tutor and delivered the course perfectly. We learned to cook a range of Thai food and got to eat the green curry we prepared for lunch in the beautiful garden. In the afternoon session Sarah took us through the tricky task of making spring rolls and with her guidance, we all produced stable and delicious examples to take home and share.
Why do I like the Cooking Academy? Because you get top quality tuition and unlike some other cookery courses where it’s a fight to take part as participants exceed the availability of preparation and cooking facilities, the academy teaches small groups and everyone gets to prepare, cook and produce food.”
