One Day Indian Class

One Day Indian Class

If you’ve ever wanted to get to grips with cooking healthy and nutritious Indian food the authentic way, this course is perfect for you. There are so many restaurants across the world that claim to serve up the real thing, but very few come close to giving you a genuine taste of real Indian food as cooked by Indian families. Starting with the all important spice trial as featured on BBC 1’s Saturday Kitchen, this One day Indian cookery class will give you a hands-on experience, hosted by experts in Indian cookery, using fresh ingredients, and family recipes. You will learn the correct technical process for creating a simple but delicious authentic curry in just 35 minutes (no more sauces or jars).

You’ll be creating and savouring a range of delicious chicken, fish, and vegetable dishes using freshly milled organic and authentic spices which you will learn all about. You’ll cook up somosas or onion bhajis like you’ve never tasted before and blend exotic spices and marinades. This class is the home of real Indian cuisine – and you’ll never look back!

"I wanted to say thank you for making my cookery course such a success. I confess that I had been concerned that I might find myself a little out of my depth, but you quickly put me at ease and the day was really enjoyable. You explained everything so clearly and opened my eyes as to how misinformed many of us are about Indian food. I was particularly surprised by the lack of complicated ingredients and the ease of preparation, yet the dishes we made were full of flavour and colour. Thank you once again; I had a wonderful day."

"I recently attended your Indian cookery class and I wanted to let you how much I enjoyed it. I didn't know what to expect but the whole day was enjoyable, friendly group and teacher, very approachable. Most impressive was the spice trail and the knowledge of the teacher, and the information was relayed in such a practical way so that we could act on it. I've been to India, and I have to say it is the most authentic food outside of India - thanks for keeping it real! Good luck."

“A rave review - this cookery class is excellent for anyone who wants to learn to cook really good Indian Food. The food you learn to cook is so different to what you get in the restaurants and so well taught. I was actually quite surprised at the amount of dishes we covered in a one day class – it was non-stop but in a jovial way. Not only value for money, but also you just felt like you’d stumbled on something really great. I will be back for the Advanced Indian”
