I recently attended the Comprehensive Indian Cookery Class, I would just like to start by saying what a fantastic two days I had. The class contained a lot more one to one than I expected which I found very helpful. I learnt so much in proper authentic Indian cooking and to be taught by someone who is so lovely and patient was an absolute pleasure. I have recommended the cooking academy to many of my friends and look forward to visiting again to do the Indian street food cookery class.
“I’ve had a really good day with fun, fellow classmates enjoying great food and wine (I wasn’t expecting to be looked after quite so well). The food we cooked was actually even better than what I ate in India earlier this year. Thank you for sharing your techniques and tips – they will be very helpful and they will make cooking easier.”
“I recently attended your Indian cookery class and I wanted to let you how much I enjoyed it. I didn’t know what to expect but the whole day was enjoyable, friendly group and teacher, very approachable. Most impressive was the spice trail and the knowledge of the teacher, and the information was relayed in such a practical way so that we could act on it. I’ve been to India, and I have to say it is the most authentic food outside of India – thanks for keeping it real! Good luck.”
“A rave review – this cookery class is excellent for anyone who wants to learn to cook really good Indian Food. The food you learn to cook is so different to what you get in the restaurants and so well taught. I was actually quite surprised at the amount of dishes we covered in a one day class – it was non-stop but in a jovial way. Not only value for money, but also you just felt like you’d stumbled on something really great. I will be back for the Advanced Indian”
“I wanted to say thank you for making my cookery course such a success. I confess that I had been concerned that I might find myself a little out of my depth, but you quickly put me at ease and the day was really enjoyable. You explained everything so clearly and opened my eyes as to how misinformed many of us are about Indian food. I was particularly surprised by the lack of complicated ingredients and the ease of preparation, yet the dishes we made were full of flavour and colour. Thank you once again; I had a wonderful day.”
“Karin and I had a truly memorable day, super fun and relaxed and we were impressed with everything about the day; the pace, the tone, the results! Wow. A real game changer.. lovely group too. Expect us back again!”
