Spanish cuisine is as diverse and wide ranging as the country itself, from the Moorish influenced Andalucia to the central region with its famed jamon de bellota and to San Sebastian in the North with its three Michelin starred restaurants. It was the conquistadores of Spain who introduced hitherto unheard of ingredients such as potatoes, peppers, corn and tomatoes to the Western hemisphere. Yet Spanish cuisine is often underrated when compared to the food of countries such as France and Italy.
