Ingredients:
- 4 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced thinly
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp honey (optional)
- 50 g almond flour
- 50 g oats (gluten-free if required)
- 25 g coconut oil or unsalted butter, melted
- 1–2 tsp maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
- 4 tbsp hazelnuts – roughly chopped
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan 160°C), gas mark 4.
- Toss the apple slices with cinnamon, lemon juice, and honey. Place in an ovenproof dish.
- In a bowl, combine almond flour, oats, and melted coconut oil. Mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the apples.
- Sprinkle the hazelnuts on top of the crumble mix
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden and bubbling.
- Serve warm, optionally with Greek yoghurt.
